To accept and reject changes on iOS, touch a change. On the iPad, a pop-up window appears containing the details of the change; on the iPhone or iPod touch, the change appears in a pane at the bottom of the screen (see Figure 5.20).
5.20: On iOS, you can quickly review, accept, and reject changes by using the changes pane on the iPhone or iPod touch (shown here), or the pop-up window on the iPad.
Tap Accept to accept the change or Reject to reject it. Tap the Previous (<) button or Next (>) button to navigate from change to change. When you finish reviewing changes, tap Done on the iPhone or iPod touch. On the iPad, simply tap outside the current pop-up window.
To turn off Track Changes for a document, you must accept or reject all the tracked changes. Normally, it is best to review the tracked changes individually, accepting or deleting each as necessary, before turning off tracked changes. However, if the level of changes is light, you may be comfortable accepting (or rejecting) them all in a single move. Here's how to turn off Track Changes on iOS:
Tap the Tools button to display the Tools panel (on the iPad) or the Tools screen (on the iPhone or iPod touch).
Tap Change Tracking to display the Change Tracking panel (on the iPad) or the Change Tracking screen (on the iPhone or iPod touch).
Set the Tracking switch to Off. If the document contains no tracked changes, Pages turns Track Changes off without comment. However, if the document contains any tracked changes, Pages displays the Turn Off Tracking dialog.
Tap the appropriate button (see Figure 5.21): Accept All Changes. Tap this button to accept all the remaining changes without reviewing them.
Reject All Changes. Tap this button to reject all the remaining changes without reviewing them.
Cancel. Tap this button to close the dialog without accepting or rejecting the changes. You can then review the changes individually.
